Eye Exams & Technology

Southlands Vision Associates' TechnologySouthlands Vision Associates is one of the leading optometrist teams in technology in the Denver area. What does this mean for you as a patient? Due to the advances in optometric technology, we are now able to perform more in-depth testing for earlier detection and a better understanding of various eye diseases, retinal disorders and other vision problems.

Optomap® Retinal Exam – Unlike a traditional retinal exam, the Optomap® Retinal Exam scans your retina using a laser so your eyes do not need to be dilated. Digital images are recorded and read that allow us to detect signs of retinal disease. If left untreated, retinal disease can lead to blindness. A regular retinal exam allows us to see these signs early when they may still be able to be treated. LEARN MORE…

Cirrus™ HD-OCT Retinal Exam - A high definition exam using a rapid scan to view layers within your retina. This non-invasive procedure is part of your regular eye exam. It allows for screening and monitoring of eye diseases, such as glaucoma. LEARN MORE…
